At Kinship House, counseling sessions are available for individual children and their families. Sessions often include time with a child’s parents or current caregivers as well as one-on-one time with the child. Our clinicians structure each session according to the client's needs and current family dynamics.

Child Welfare Assessments
Kinship House provides assessments for child welfare professionals to assess parent-child interactions, sibling interactions, and to assess individual needs.

Education
As part of the Kinship House mission, we seek to support our clients and community by providing ongoing educational opportunities for parents, caseworkers, educators, and other professionals, so that we may all better understand the special needs of children, especially those experiencing foster care and adoption.

Advocacy
Our clinicians have a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing children and families involved with foster care and adoption. Accordingly, Kinship House strongly advocates for decisions and treatment to be in the best interest of children. We routinely participate in a variety of forums to provide advocacy.
